Light Shines in the Darkness: Conductor Michael J. Glasgow returns to the podium to lead the Tar River Chorus in a powerful concert exploring the contrasting themes of "light" and "darkness."  The concert's eponymous work, by Michael John Trotta, serves as an anchor to a program featuring contemporary compositions embracing a spectrum of riveting to sublime.  Strings and keyboard provide a rich accompaniment.
