This powerful concert honors our nation's history, ideals, and enduring spirit through some of the most beloved works in the American choral and orchestral repertoire.
The program features Aaron Copland's uplifting The Promise of Living, John Williams' moving Hymn to the Fallen, Howard Hanson's majestic Song of Democracy, and beloved American folk and patriotic melodies including Shenandoah, Simple Gifts, My Country, 'Tis of Thee, and America the Beautiful. Performed by more than 150 musicians and singers, this inspiring evening will celebrate the people, landscapes, sacrifices, and freedoms that have shaped the American story.
