Tar River Orchestra & Chorus Bring New Offerings and New Look

The Tar River Choral and Orchestral Society, Inc. of Rocky Mount is pleased to announce its 2010-2011 Concert Schedule. Not only will concertgoers hear a new mix of music but the group has also established a new look for its branding.

With the help of branding gurus at Lewis Advertising in Rocky Mount, the Tar River Orchestra and Chorus has launched a fresh new look for the new season. “We wanted to embrace our rich history and look forward to our bright future. The new logo and tag line show our audiences we have a fresh perspective – one that is unique to our region. At our live performances, they can Hear it. See it. Feel it.,” Tar River Orchestra and Chorus General Manager, Beth Kupsco said.

Founded in Rocky Mount in 1986, the group includes a professional orchestra, adult chorus, children’s chorus, youth strings program, symphonic band and a swing band.

“Along with a new look, we are also offering new ticket options this season,” Kupsco said. “In addition to the traditional $60.00 season ticket, we have two new flex ticket options: three tickets may be purchased for $30.00 or four tickets for $40.00.”
